Periodically, Cornell undergoes an institutional self study resulting in a Self-Study Report and a visit from peer evaluators. Our institutional accreditor by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Reaccreditation with Middle States is now on an eight year cycle. Previously, it was a ten-year cycle with a Periodic Review Report at the midpoint of the cycle.The last self study report and visit occurred during the 2020-21 academic year.
Accreditation Status
On March 10, 2021, the Middle States Association Commission on Higher Education reaffirmed Cornell’s accreditation and commended the institution for the quality of the self-study report and the quality of the self-study process.
